Where is your venue located?

We are conveniently located one block away from the Empire State Building.

Our building lobby is located on the right side of Heuk Hwa Dang in Koreatown.
From the building lobby, you can take the elevator to the 11th floor.

What are your business hours?
  • Sunday: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
  • Mon – Wed: 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM
  • Thursday: 5:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM

 

Do I need to make a reservation before my visit?

Reservations are not required, you can walk-in anytime during our normal business hours.

Rooms are subject to availability and will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis.

Can I make a reservation for my group?

Please visit our Reservations page to request a booking.

  • Same-day reservations are not guaranteed as our reservations office closes at 6 PM (weekdays).
  • Reservations are accepted for groups of 6 or more (Sun-Thu) and 8 or more (Fri & Sat).
  • All other parties will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do reservations work for Friday & Saturday nights?

Friday & Saturday nights have a high volume of reservation requests since they are the busiest days of the week. Between the ‘peak hours’ of 7 PM – 12 AM, we can only guarantee bookings with a package selection. Additionally, in order to book a private room for more than an hour, we require a package to be selected. One (1) hour reservations outside of the mentioned ‘peak hours’ may be accepted based on availability. To extend your time, you can discuss the details with our floor staff on the day of your event.

How much does it cost to rent a karaoke room?
Our base rate starts at $50/hour for up to 4 guests, each additional guest is +$5/hour.

How many rooms do you have? What are the sizes?

We have 11 rooms to accommodate guests.

  • Small Room: 1-8 Guests
  • Medium Room: 9-13 guests
  • Large Room: 14-26 guests
  • VIP Lounge: Up To 125 guests

For larger groups, we may assign multiple rooms to best accommodate groups or based on customer request.

Am I required to make a deposit in advance for a reservation?

No, we do not ask for a deposit for any of our bookings, we do however require a card on file for No-Show protection.

The entire payment amount will be charged physically at the venue (unless a previous arrangement has been made in advance, which is subject to management approval).

What is your No-Show, Cancellation, & Reschedule policy?
  • You are required to input your credit/debit card during the booking process on Square Appointments.
  • Bookings made directly through our customer relations team may require a Cancellation Waiver form to be signed & completed.
  • The payment method you provide will not be charged except in the case of a No-Show or Cancellation.
  • We ask customers to check-in 15 minutes BEFORE their reservation start time. You are considered a No-Show if you are more than 20 minutes late without advance notice.
  • Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before your reservation date for the No-Show/Cancellation fee to be waived.
  • Please contact us if you have an extenuating circumstance, we will try our best to accommodate any and all requests.
Do you allow BYOB?

Yes. However, you must purchase BYOB packages or higher-tier packages.

BYOB package includes a private room rental and complimentary karaoke for all your guests but doesn’t include food. BYOB package requires a minimum of 10 guests.
The price for 2 hours is $45/person, for an additional hour extension, the price is $29/person.

Sodas (Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, club soda, ginger ale, tonic)
Juices (cranberry, orange, pineapple)
Ice & water
Bottle coolers
Utensils – Cups / Plates / Forks / Spoons / Napkin

Is there a cover fee or entry charge?

We do not charge an entry fee so please feel free to visit Space Karaoke.

When should we arrive before the reservation to check in?

The primary host must check in 15 mins prior to your scheduled reservation time to guarantee your reservation starts on time or the reservation may be considered forfeited.

What are the age requirements to enter?

Yes, with a few exceptions, all guests need to be 21 or older and provide valid, physical government-issued IDs to enter our venue. Photocopies or pictures of documents will NOT be accepted.

  • Valid New York State driver’s license or a valid driver’s license from any other state or Canada;

  • Valid identification issued by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (non-driver ID card);

  • Valid United States military identification; and

  • Valid passport or visa from the United State government or any other country.

Sunday – Thursday: Final check-out time for guests is 8 PM.
Friday & Saturday: We do not allow guests under 21 to enter without a parent or legal guardian present.

Under 21 WITH a parent or legal guardian
We make exceptions for minors that are part of family gatherings to enter & stay past 8 PM. It is mandatory for minors to be accompanied by their parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s). Uncles, aunts, older siblings, older cousins, etc. are not legal guardians unless they are appointed custody under legal court proceedings.

Can we do Corporate Event at the Karaoke venue?

Yes. We are currently holding lots of Corporate Events. We are also providing 10% discount if the total number of guest is 25. We may also provide Pre-Paid Invoice for your corporate Event! Please be advised that Corporate discount and Birthday discount can not be duplicated.

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code for entry is No baggy pants, No hats.

How can we get Birthday discount?

We are providing a 10% discount to all birthday customers with valid ID and DOB before/after 7 days. Please bring your ID which shows your DOB.

Please also be noted that Corporate discounts and Birthday discounts can not be duplicated.

How can request catering services?

Food catering orders can be placed through Reserve > Event Inquiry or via email (hello@spacekaraoke.com) at least 5 days prior to the event.

Are there any Vegan, Kosher, Gluten-free foods?

Unfortunately, we don’t have Vegan, Kosher, and Gluten-free foods. Typically, we do not allow any outside foods, but customers with strict dietary restrictions (such as Vegan, Kosher, Gluten-free) only can bring their own food.

Are we allowed to smoke or vape in the room?

No. Our building has strict restrictions about smoking/vaping for the lobby, bar, private rooms as well as the elevator.

Do you have an open mic lounge/area for public karaoke?

Unfortunately, our venue only hosts karaoke with our private rooms, there is no public area for singing.

However, you are more than welcome to hang out at the bar and grab drinks there.

Do you accept Apple Pay? How many cards can we use to split our bill?

We accept all contactless payment options including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, & NFC. We can accept a maximum of 3 cards to split payment on a check.
